BERG Guest Lecture: Professor Dennis Loveday

Dennis Loveday retired in 2020, following an academic career that spanned forty-plus years, most of these at Loughborough University as a member of the Building Energy Research Group (BERG). At the invitation of current BERG members, Dennis returns to present a somewhat light-hearted career retrospective that outlines how by chance he came into the field of building physics, provides some brief history of BERG, and summarises key aspects and outcomes of selected research projects. He shares, particularly with researchers, his perspectives on staying upbeat and motivated throughout the research journey.
